What data breach procedures we have in place

Should any event occur where customer data has been lost, stolen, or potentially compromised, our policy is to alert our customers via email no later than 48 hours of our team becoming aware of the event. We will also report such incident to any required data protection authority. We will work closely with any customers affected to determine next steps such as any end-user notifications, needed patches, and how to avoid any similar event in the future.

What we collect and store – E commerce

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you. See below:

Plugin: Smush

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.

Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Files and images served by the CDN may be stored and served from countries other than your own. Stackpath’s privacy policy can be found here.

What we collect and store via Yith Plugins

When you purchase a ticket, we’ll track:

  • Personal data of the owner: these data will be used by the event organizer to create a list of attendees.
  • Service purchased: we’ll keep the selected service options set for you ticket, in order to help the staff organize the event.

We’ll also use cookies to store preferences you set for your ticket and prevent you from entering them more than once during the same session.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • User unique identifier: this ID is used to uniquely identify the user on Stripe platform and create charges/refunds.

Note: the plugin uses Firebase Realtime Database to which a DPO has to be assigned.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Visits to the store: we’ll use this to generate statistics for affiliates and administrators.
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this just for statistics, and to let administrators supervise traffic generated by affiliates.
  • Affiliate’s name, username, email address: we’ll use this information to register and keep track of affiliates.

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of visit and sales generate by affiliates.

During checkout, we’ll track:

  • Email address, first name, last name: we’ll use this information in order to populate basic information of your account on MailChimp.
  • Billing or shipping data: we’ll use this information in order to complete your account on MailChimp
  • Order total, payment method, customer IP: we’ll use this information in order to improve your account, and send you targeted newsletters
  • Preferences, products purchased, categories of products purchased: we’ll use this information in order to improve your profile, and send you targeted newsletters

When subscribing to newsletter, we’ll track:

  • Email address: we’ll use this in order to populate basic information of your account on MailChimp
  • Any other information submitted through the registration form: we’ll use this information in order to complete your account on MailChimp and send you targeted emails.

We’ll ask for your explicit consent before sending any data to MailChimp servers.

The plugin allows adding products removed from the cart to a dedicated list. To do this, the plugin stores both the user ID and the product ID, quantity and the date in which the product is added to this list.

If the site is visited with a guest user account, the plugin uses a cookie to store this information.

When you buy a subscription product the following information will be stored:

  • Your name, address, email and phone number, and billing address which will be used to populate the order and the recurring order.
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can send you the current order and the recurring orders.
